2015 has already seen its fair share of great new releases. The Airborne Toxic Event released two excellent albums, 'Dope Machines' & 'Songs Of God And Whiskey'....Fall Out Boy released 'American Beauty/American Psycho', their follow-up to 2013's rock opus 'Save Rock And Roll'...Misterwives dropped their debut full-length 'Our Own House'...Dead Sara returned with the rockin' "Pleasure To Meet You", and A Silent Film released a four song EP titled 'New Year' that left us wanting more! Those are just some of the albums we're loving so far this year, and the great news is that there are still a bunch of releases we're hotly anticipating. Read up on some of the albums still to come that have us salivating...

Gin Wigmore

From the second we heard this unique Kiwi's voice, we fell in love. Her 2013 album 'Gravel & Wine' was our #1 album for that year and we've been anxiously awaiting her follow-up. Luckily, our wait is almost over as she recently announced her new album, 'Blood To Bone', would drop June 30th. Along with that announcement came a video for the first single, "New Rush". The song propels forward with Gin's raspy voice, an addictive driving rhythm, and a killer drum solo at the end. Dare we say perfection?! Check it out and you'll know why we're so excited to hear her new music.

Bebe Rexha

Ever since Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy introduced his side project Black Cards, we knew Bebe Rexha was going to be a star. Black Cards is no more, but you probably know Bebe Rexha already and don't even realize it. She was the creative force behind the Eminem & Rihanna hit song "The Monster" and the voice of Cash Cash's hit song "Take Me Home" and David Guetta's smash "Hey Mama". Her own recent songs "Cant Stop Drinking About You" and "I'm Gonna Show You Crazy" have only solidified our initial prediction. Her new EP titled 'I Dont Wanna Grow Up' drops May 12th and includes these two songs along with a few other sure to be hits. Check out her videos on YouTube and then pick up her new EP...we'd put money on the fact that you won't be disappointed.

Rachel Platten

"Fight Song" is slowly taking over the world. Seriously. The songs' success couldn't happen to a nicer or more talented person. We had the pleasure of seeing Rachel Platten in concert not too long ago opening for Matt Nathanson in support of her debut album 'Be Here'. If it weren't for the fact that Matt Nathanson is amazing in concert (that's a blog for another day) she would have blown anyone else off the stage. Charismatic, energetic, super sweet, and incredibly talented, 'Be Here' was a promising start to a solid career. Unfortunately, the music industry is sometimes a little slow on the uptake. But things are finally starting to come together. With the word of mouth success of "Fight Song", major labels took notice and she recently signed to Columbia Records and announced plans for an EP (coming very soon...Rachel made an announcement on social media this past Thursday!) and possibly (fingers crossed) a full length major label debut album by the end of 2015. We see big things for Rachel in the very near future. Check out the lyric video for "Fight Song" (an official video is set for release soon) and fall in love with the song's powerful statement of self realization and worth...the never give up attitude of a survivor...and Rachel Platten, a star in the making.

Zella Day

If you haven't seen the super sexy video for the apty titled "Hypnotic" from Zella Day...no worries, you can check it out below. Thank us later, as the song will most likely become stuck in your head and Zella Day might just become one of your new favorite artists. Her new album, 'Kicker', comes out June 2nd and the buzz has been slowly growing with each song release..."Sweet Ophelia", "Hypnotic", "1965", "Sacrifice" (from the Insurgent soundtrack) and "High", the latest single, all lead up to what should be a stand out album. Fans of Lana Del Rey, Halsey, Tove Lo, and Phantogram should take notice. Heck, everyone should take notice!

Panic! At The Disco

Though we don't have many details yet, with the release of their new single "Hallelujah", it appears P!ATD is almost ready to release their follow-up to 2013's excellent 'Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die'. We have to admit, it took a while for Brendon Urie and company to win us over, and if we never hear "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies", ever again, it'll still be too soon. However, lately it feels as if P!ATD has really found themselves and hit their stride with catchy, well built songs that make you reach for the repeat button...er, repeatedly. This was extremely evident on their singles "This Is Gospel" and "Miss Jackson" from 'TWTLTRTD'. If the rest of their new album is as addictive as their last...and "Hallelujah" is a great indication it will be...count us as one of the converted.

Meg Myers

We can't help but compare Meg Myers to Alanis Morissette (if you can believe it, possibly an angrier version of the vengeful "You Outta Know" protagonist) when we hear the angst and anger in her latest single, "Sorry". Her previous EP, 'Make A Shadow', mixed angry, emotionally charged, and haunting music with scathing lyrics for singles "Desire", "Go", and "Heart Heart Head". "Sorry", the first single from her as yet untitled debut full length album set for release mid year, simply picks up where those songs left off...which has us very excited to hear the album. On a side note, we certainly wouldn't want to get on Meg's bad side! Check out the video for "Sorry" and see if you agree.

X Ambassadors

Unless you've sworn off TV or you record everything so you can skip past the commercials, you're probably already familiar with the X Ambassadors. Their song "Jungle" was prominently featured in an episode of The Blacklist and "Renegades" (and the band themselves for that matter) is currently featured in a JEEP commercial...both giving the band a ton of exposure before their new album "VHS" is released on June 23rd. Fans of Imagine Dragons, Mumford & Sons, Hozier, One Republic, and AWOLNation should defintely look for their new album and may want to check out their previous releases 'The Reason EP' and "Love Songs Drug Songs EP'. Definitely a band to keep your eyes and ears open for as momentum is gaining and it's only a matter of time before they break out big.

Other new releases still to come this year that have us waiting with baited breath include ones from Heather Nova (May 29th), The Virginmarys, Veruca Salt, Halsey ('Badlands' drops this July), Lifehouse ('Out Of The Wasteland' drops May 26th), Five Knives, Florence + The Machine ('How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful' drops June 2nd), Laces (June 9th), Rachael Yamagata, Wild Belle, Escondido, Hey Violet, Jana Kramer, and Muse ('Drones' drops June 2nd)...among others.

We'll continue to keep you up-to-date on these artists and their new music...here and on our Facebook page. Also, check out our previous blog post titled "Most Anticipated Releases In 2015" for more information on these and other artists set to release new music in 2015!
